What's a Regional Network all about?
These are local gatherings for you. While we know your life is much more than ministry and church planting, we use the term CPS (Church Planter's Spouses) just to help clarify the target group. (Yes! You are being targeted!) Once you've been in church planting, you know what it's all about even if you move on to a cushy job of pastoring! So go ahead, use whatever title you want...sop--spouse of pastor...wop...mop...
These gatherings involve informal coaching, care, and celebration. We do this through sharing our stories and journeys, learning from each other, celebrating life together, and caring for one another. Getting a group started necessitates a woman filling the position of regional coordinator. Her primary role is to develop and facilitate the gatherings, with one of these potentially being a retreat. Her secondary role is to provide oversight to those who are mentoring CPSs. The type of woman we see filling this role is one others already seek out, is kingdom focused, and who is practically perfect in every way. Okay, but if she's not, at least has the ability to laugh at her own mistakes. While we provide guidelines for developing a network, we are not desiring a franchise model. We'll give you some simple tools and guidance but let you dream big for what this can mean for your region. Contact Tami at tresch@pcanet.org if you want to know more. Regional networks are just getting started. This page will be developed in the future when we can offer groups in your area.
